Drambuie Estate

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

These days drambuie isn’t restricted to the confines of a glass. It can also prove a nice place to whittle away your days as you enjoy a pleasant (and ritzy) vacation in Jamaica.

The Drambuie Estate, built in the 1940’s by the Duke of Marlborough, is a private villa now available for renters. The villa retains much of its old-world charm, complete with furnished rugs from across the world, original art from around Jamaica and other countries, exquisite sculptures and food to die for. And the charm has been enhanced by modern amenities like wireless internet, up-to-date sound systems and plenty of things to do.

But why settle for just the villa? Go for a full package. You’ll be given a car (with, if you wish, your own private driver) to tour the countryside in. And visitors to the Drambuie Estate may visit the Round Hill, a recreation center with a private beach, fitness rooms and lots more.

So the next time you’re visiting Jamaica and have a few extra bucks to spend, consider the Drambuie Estate. You won’t regret it.

And while you’re at it, ask for a drambuie. Just makes sense, doesn’t it?
